Merry Christmas everyone, and welcome to our third annual Christmas themed issue. What more is there to write about the most festive of seasons, you may ask? Well, lots. As well as our staple features, such as our infamous LIFM Awards, our preview of next year's releases, and what we hope to see more (and less) of, we have several other features to pique your interest. We discuss how representations of Santa Claus have changed over the years, and offer our selection of the best Xmas-themed action movies (and not a Santa With Muscles or a Jingle All the Way in sight). Our list looks at the best Father Christmases to have ever graced our screens, and instead of our regular reviews, we've invited our contributors to make a claim for their film of the year.
